Canon 40D - Indoor Workshop

About the Workshop

This indoor  3-4 hour workshop will cover virtually all aspects of the Canon 40D in as much detail as time permits. We will review all the menu items and custom functions. I will explain how each function works and why and when to use it. This workshop should be useful to novice and intermediate level photographers or those who are struggling with some of the new features.

 - exposure modes
 - metering
 - mirror lock up and timer
 - hilight tone priority
 - diopter setting
 - noise reduction
 - drive (frame rate)
 - viewfinder indicators
 - file formats RAW\JPG and sizes
 - DEP mode
 - setting the C1 - C3 preset functions
 - setting a custom menu

   much much more!
 
 
 

What you need

I recommend you bring:

- Canon 40D Digital SLR (and camera manual)
- a short lens (20-80mm or so)
- CF card and battery
 - paper and pen and/or laptop
 

Where
We meet at my home in Dundas near the RBG Arboretum  map  at 9:00AM sharp, end around  12:30 - 1 PM

Fee
$40.00 per person

Cancellation policy:  No refunds will be available within 15 days of the scheduled date.

Postponements:  Inclement weather may postpone the workshop, I will attempt to contact you by email or phone.  I will fit you into a future date if need be.
